when i was younger i used to finish things quickly. i've been writing songs for 31 years and using fl studio for 21. for a long time i didn't have an audio interface that could work with ASIO in FL. Ihad a lot of fun recording guitar or piano and then importing it and building a beat around it. nowadays i find myself with 2 fat hard drives full of stuff that's in all kinds of stages. something always needs something. also i was playing live a lot more back then, but now i find myself with option exhaustion, wondering when i'm going to finish my album, starting a new song instead of finishing that bassline, mixing those vocals, fixing that one harmony. i feel like the most productive unproductive dude ...
