You can have fun but just admit you're not good enough that you had to resort to using high tier characters like Gogeta 4. Unless one of those high tier characters are your favorite from the anime I see no problem with it. I think Gogeta 4 is cool and I'll use him occasionally but not all the time because it gets too easy for me and I don't have as much fun. Gogeta 4 isn't my favorite since he's non canon. UI Goku is my main in 1v1 since Goku is my favorite character and his moves looks cooler than Gogeta 4 so I'll always have fun with UI Goku regardless how quick matches go for me when I'm using UI Goku mastered or sign.

@ fax. I almost only use recoome in single battle and I switch up my dp team a lot. I do think their is obviously overpowered tech and really frustrating stuff between folks quoting mid match and using jank to stun lock people(wheelo not low sweep kick) but I think playing fighters got me use to toxic gamers. I’m not really super pressed about characters designed with jank. I do hope they fix the games responsiveness with like inputs

Way too many easy universal defensive options and ways to get out of combos that gameplay is the same all around and if you don’t have a combination of 4 HP bars, a counter skill (Wild sense, afterimage strike), instant sparking, or an unblockable ultimate, good luck trying to climb past low A rank or high B.

People say that all the time, but I've also seen plenty of use-cases overtake the previous optimal strat. Even at games that have exceeded their lifespan beyond the 20s. Doesn't mean that there shouldn't be changes though. Also its just to reiterate that there's nothing wrong by playing by the meta-book, but by not playing it is also fine. Have fun I'd say.
