I can relate to the fitness niche. I was planning a podcast on Gym Stories because I really haven't found anything else like that so far. My target audience would be those who listen to podcasts while going to the gym, needing some extra motivation to work out. Coming up with a good, working niche is the hardest thing ever and I've been struggling with this for months just because I've been walking around with dozens of niche ideas and not knowing which one to use FIRST. I made a video on a similar title and YT suggested this one as,, next,, so I am here. When I was first starting in my business and came to face this problem I figured out very quickly that the majority of advice are made for people who have no objections talking to the camera and love selling or those who will put profits above anything else. You see I am not them. I am an introvert and activist who runs a non-profit and coaching business where people come always first. That's why I made a channel where I show my fellow introverts, activists, and non-profits how I do it without selling soul and compromising on our values and our true self. Wonderful video! Keep these videos coming! I niched down two weeks ago and my channel is blowing up. I started doing 2 new things that a big KZbinr told me to do and I niched down and my channel starting blowing up and I made partner...etc and my revenue is growing fast. I am doing a full channel clean up today to get it more niched down. My spiritual related content is also amazing and my subscribers are expressing it over and over again. I work hard on my videos and content now, and it is showing. I am fixing a few things today like adding more eye catching thumbnails. I learned that you got to be all in, for your subscribers to me. PLUS it becomes MUCH easier to craft a message, that speaks directly to our Ideal clients - their wishes, desires and problems. I've been stuck for a bit on narrowing down my niche but this did help me to focus on what I currently have without wasting a year of learning to build a website with the content. Hello , Pat, Now, I started my podcast in May this year, 2020, after going through gynaecological surgery, and my target audience is primarily to help people who have gynaecological issues, or people who have went through a similar type of surgery to myself, or are planning on having the type of surgery that I underwent. Moreover, I am unsure if I need to niche down however, since starting my podcast, I have also talked about people who have ongoing mental health issues such as anxiety and depression. Next, I am quite passionate about health in generally, and I understand mental health can go hand in hand with physical health especially when one has gone through quite an extensive surgery, it can effect ones mental health too, which is the reason I wanted to address both issues in my podcast. Now, I thank you once again for your valuable information ℹ️ ℹ️, and if you have any ideas for me, this would be thoroughly appreciated....

Great video Pat! My niche is reducing our exposure to the toxic chemicals and pollution that is EVERYWHERE in our lives right now. And this leads to living a more healthy, natural and sustainable lifestyle. I am just 25 videos in on my KZbin channel. I am not sure exactly how I want to niche down more just yet so any thoughts by you or people in this community are greatly appreciated. I could do an age group like people over 30 or 40 or moms & families? Or I could focus on an area like in the kitchen? Or diet and lifestyle? I could also do clean beauty but that space is pretty saturated. Any feedback is appreciated. Thank you!

Thank you Pat! This is great! I have struggled as I’m an insurance agent/broker and help run an insurance agency. But I have noticed most insurance people haven’t grown much as most people hate insurance. But it is something everyone has to buy. Is that a good idea to focus my channel on insurance? Or I have a photography/videography background. And I should go that route. Either way I have a fascination of helping new businesses grow. And want to focus on that. Whether it’s insurance or helping them with marketing. Or both?

Just two weeks ago in our Community (niche of residential real estate photographers that specialize in 24/7 Open House Tours"), I posted "Tip of the Week: "Why you must focus on a niche market"" forum.we-get-around.com/topic/13153/page/1/tip-of-the-week-why-you-must-focus-on-a-niche-market/#11 I am still struggling if I need to "niche down" more such as residential real estate photographers that specialize in 24/7 Open House Tours that: 1) are in the USA, 2) that use a specific 3D/360 camera; 3) that use a specific 3D/360 platform.
