✏️How to work with me: As you know I am CEO of an Academic Life Coaching Company and I have (2) ways in which I work with students.
✔️Educated. The Art of Becoming A Good Student: This is a group coaching program that I created to teach you how to build a study routine, how to manage your time, how to read and write your notes, how to write papers fast, how to set up your weekly schedule. I give you all the templates, guides, and worksheets so that it's an easy step-by-step repeatable process. And the entire Mastering Your Mindset As A College Student Vault. This vault will teach you how to create motivation and persistence to achieve your goals even when you don’t feel like it, you're overwhelmed/stressed and shit is hitting the fan.

✔️The Your Best Semester Yet Coaching Experience (I have only two 1:1 spots currently open for this level of work with me):
This 1:1 coaching container is all about mastering the art of showing up for yourself consistently, no matter what. Your Best Semester Yet goes beyond just hitting a specific academic goal or creating a study routine. Your Best Semester Yet is about helping you heal your past self and rebuild your self-trust and confidence from the ground up. Every week the focus is just on you for 45 minutes. Every week we get to work on you becoming the best version of yourself. Every week we work on you thriving in your everyday life alongside college. Every week you get to know yourself better and better and I help you fall in love with who you are becoming. It's absolutely magical. And we do all of this with just your mind. It is incredible. You automatically get Educated when you work with me 1:1.

If you're interested in 1:1 coaching with me or want to join my group coaching program Educated but you have questions, concerns or hesitations - I've opened up my calendar for consult calls (where we figure out what's still missing and you can ask all your questions around if working with me makes sense).

Clarissa, this video was exactly what I needed tonight, I’m so grateful I came across your channel. You laid out a REAL working plan to self-evaluate and break this lack of motivation mode Ive been in for so long down into steps to take. I’ve sure got some homework to do with everything you laid out, but finally i feel some hope again for changing my semester and myself, and for figuring out how to not think about giving up so quickly. Thank you so so much!!!❤

I learn way more in Books-A-Million, Barnes and nobles, in my local library and actually enjoying and having fun.. then I learned in college... I think the difference between a libraries and college is the PRESSURE because you're not really fighting against a books... you're fighting against the time frames; Everyone can learn about anything.. people have their own timing and on methods of learning like visual, audio and physical, interactions also the books I learned in libraries and stores like I'm reading about mechanic I know my car from the front to the back and I didn't even go to college I just went to a regular library and with that knowledge in mind now I feel more confident in going to college because I guess I got my feet wet enough to not worry about the * TIME FRAMES and money if I don't pass I have to retake it again and again and again

I am feeling like this now I am taking anatomy and physiology it’s an intro class. And I feel stupid I don’t know everything. Some of the information isn’t sticking I am having a hard time with understanding the information. I need to do well in this class before applying to nursing school. I feel like I can’t do it. I don’t know how to study for this class. At times I don’t know where to start. I don’t even know if I should drop the class already or not.

It's normal that you don't know everything. That is why you're taking the class. To learn A&P. We are conditioned to think that the first time we hear or are exposed to a concept we should immediately be able to understand it and retain it. That is not how the human brain learns. If the only reason why you feel like you should drop the class is because you don't know how to study, don't let that be your reason. Because if you learned how to walk, talk, drive a care, apply to college, read then you can learn how to study. The only reason why you are struggling is because no one has sat down to teach you how to study, how to make a weekly schedule and then get yourself to study when you said you would. Lucky for you, you landed on a KZbin channel that teaches you exactly that. I would start with this video of mine next : kzbin.info/www/bejne/jaaZmKGbpZicitE

What would you do if you had a low IQ?
@sherocksatcollege
@sherocksatcollege 2 жыл бұрын
I would do the exact same thing. Especially knowing the history of IQ exams. It was originally created by Alfred Binet as a way to help identify if a student needed more support and guidance. He actually didn't believe that intelligence could be measured. He believed it could change over time (Growth Mindset). As I mentioned in the video, your human brain is working just fine no matter your IQ level. It is about finding the areas you need more support and guidance in getting that support and guidance and doing the work to get better.
