WHERE IS ALL THE SNOW! It has definitely been an interesting season weather wise. We're going to go over how we setup our contracts to keep money coming in throughout winter regardless of the weather.

I just subbed after watching your video with Brian? I'd love to see another vid like this with the drone footage as you're clearing snow. Good job bro btw. I admire you a lot.

Really good video for plowing. No one actually shows half of what you just showed. How do you convince people to do a contract vs per push when you give them the option?

Charge for coming back to take out plow grader banks( I charge 50$ per entrance) or charge more per push. Offer seasonal incentives. But remember sometimes you have 20 or 30 events vs 15. Where I live my multiplier for seasonal contract is 22.5 So if it’s 250 per push and 250 Per salt sand that’s 500$ x 22.5 But if paid seasonal upfront before November 15th I include return for plow banks. I would rather have a monthly minimum retainer in the contract for big clients vs play the seasonal price game. Such as minimum one or two plow and sanding per month charge whether it snows or not just to cover insurance and overhead. I like about 25% seasonal upfront paid clients and 75% per push clients to even things out whether it’s a big snow year or not.

We usually don't need to convince them as majority of contractors in the area will only do a seasonal price. Lucky for us lol

Im close to you in dutchess county and i structure my contracts the same way. Do your plow drivers get a salary or do you just pay them some type of retainer over the winter?
