Lol isn't it the second time he's played the same role? In Masoom as well, DK (his character) brings home a son from another woman. Not only did he have the affair after marriage, he cheated on Indu (Shabana azmi, the wife) while she was herself pregnant. It's a very nice film and at the end everything ends well but if the roles were reversed the entire plot would be different lol. Maybe there'd be violence in it too.

The major problem I had with this movie was normalizing the husband cheating and expecting his wife whom he cheated on to raise his child from another woman. What if she had cheated on him? I doubt he would have raised another man’s child. He most likely would have thrown her out, but because he was the man movies love portraying their actions as mistakes and for the women to accept it.
