I think this is one of your best videos, and I have watched most of them, it really comes across that you are speaking from the heart. What I love about your channel is that it is authentic, and you don't pretend to be something you are not. Please keep making videos and thank you for the videos you have already made.

that was both really self-reflective and also really helpful. (Especially since I'm also on the faster speaker side of things) so thanks for all this great advice!

As an Irish person, I don't think you speak fast at all 😅 and regarding the length of your videos, I chose to watch your videos over others precisely because they were shorter so I think it's subjective. Great video! X

I've always enjoyed the pacing of your videos; even when you do speak a bit fast. I'm just grateful that I get to hear someone share their struggles they've faced while pursuing a PHD. It makes me feel like I have a better understanding of what I should expect and for that reason, I'll always keep up with this channel. Thanks for doing what you do!

I love these posts - little push as I am reaching the end of the tunnel. KZbin needs more PhD related content for procrastination motivation. Also you are adorable, lovable, and amazing on camera (and I am confident off camera too) don't be too harsh on yourself. Keep up these videos xox

Being human and authentic is more important than being perfect. I've gained a lot of inspiration from you, here at the start of my PhD journey. Please keep being you.

Hey Lucy I love how authentic you are. A bit unrelated to your usual videos but do you have or would you do a video on your curly hair routine. My hair is similar to yours but it's time consuming to try and make it look presentable so I just prefer to have it straight as its more manageable..any products you would recommend? Thank you

Hey Lucy, thank you for your video. You really inspire us. I feel you are very relatable. I will be joining my PhD in Fall this year, but I am sure if you can do it, I can do it too. Thank you for honest videos!!

I'm going to take this opportunity to make one small suggestion I'm not sure exactly how you would fix this (maybe some kind of mic cover?) but your audio always has very strong mouth noises in it and sadly it means I struggle to watch your videos or have to use the captions instead :'( as a PhD student approaching her last 6 months (gotta love that covid extension) I have really appreciated seeing your journey though, despite tech issues 😅
