Got distracted by the 🌈 on your beautiful curls.. and had to rewatch the video again coz your advices are so valuable & true! Early last year, I had enrolled myself into various courses in hopes of expanding my skills & earning a promotion, but was forced to pause on all due to the pandemic. Working from home taught me to make short-term goals & focus on 1-2 tasks each day. I felt more accomplished & productive by doing so. It's very simple, but very hard to practice saying "no". thanks lucy! :)

Thanks so much for your content! This is SO true! Its really easy to get swept up and burn out but at the end of the day, the PhD should be the priority . Thanks for sharing your wisdom Lucy!

This is something I struggle with. I already feel overwhelmed with everything I HAVE to do for my PhD, let alone signing up for extra presentations/opportunities! I'm only in my first year so I'm hoping I'll be able to take on more opportunities after my classes are done this year!

I needed this video! I’m in my final year of my PhD and have recently gotten a 0.5 permanent teaching contract and secure hourly paid lecturing at another institution. Something had to give so I decided to go part time with my PhD studies.
