Hmm well the thing is that Lyx did not seem to have masonry though which is why buildings crumble down so fast...I think researching the extra building armor techs reduces the impact of Obsidian arrows a bit.

i dont think obsidian arrow needs a nerf, its not for plumes right? And its a lot of investment to make ranges and xbows and get the tech to be viable. Maybe a little increase to the cost would be fine. ps: Please try this using a saracens ally that would be so good !

162manoj buildings, onagres, skirmishers(and cavalry if lategame) are the counter for archers but as you seen none of them work with this strat if you mass archers, towers won't stop you, uban centers either. GG

You need ranges for Thumb Ring anyways so it's only the cost of teching into XBows/Arbs which isn't too bad. This with FU Arbs + Saracen ally is VERY Powerful though - you can straight up kill a castle with like 40 Arbs.

It was introduced with the expansions for AOC HD on Steam a while ago. But it only recently became accessible on voobly, where all the pro players play, via the Wololokingdoms mod. So it is part of the "official" expansions. But parts of the expansions balance need some redo, because now, when the top players play them, it is a bit of.

I don't think that it should be nerfed since it only affects the archer-line, which is not a unit that you create with the mayans because you have faster moving, higher HP plumbed archers. Could you imagine plumbs with obsidian arrow? That must've been damn OP :D

While it came with some fixes, Conquerors was pretty broken. They added fire rate tech to archers and health to cavalry leaving infantry behind. The new AoC civs were also imbalanced. Why must plumes have bonus vs infantry if infantry totally sucks? Just give them bonus vs eagles. How come conqs have such low frame delay and reload time considering their dmg? Cav archers were designed with double the delay but scrap balance. Here is a gimmicky expansion.
