Thank you for the information. Regarding accommodation, should I show a reservation for 90 days to obtain the 90 days eVisa? I could not find a website to do this. Would showing a 15-day accommodation be enough, or is it mandatory to show for 90 days? My plan is to stay for 6 months.

We advise you to have accommodation for 90 days, you can use booking.com for the procedure.

Thank you for the explanation, it sort of answered the questions I had about this visa. Remaining questions include -- 1) My business in the USA is a sole-proprietorship, meaning I don't have a formal registration with the government, and instead what I can show is the portion of my tax filings that demonstrate I've pursued business activities for many years, and is that sufficient? 2) It sounds like you're saying the Digital Nomad visa has to be renewed every 3 months, or did you say every 6 months, that was a little confusing.

1. Depends on the embassy if they agree with the submitted documentation, from our understanding it should be a registered business. 2. The visa is 3 months, the residency permit 6 months. However US citizens do not need visa and have a easier option with opening a Romanian company. Buna, când spui ca persoana în cauza trebuie sa fi fost angajata de 3 ani, asta înseamnă un contract pe o perioada de 3 ani? Dar dacă ești pfa și angajat în același timp (perfect ok în UK) sau pfa pentru 2 ani și angajat 1 an dar făcând același job? Multumesc :)

Buna Cristina! Din punctul nostru de vedere, daca esti PFA, trebuie demonstrate veniturile 2 ani ca pfa si 1 an ca si angajat. Cu toate acestea, decizia va depinde de ambasada romana la care sunt depuse documentele 👌
