How to obtain all Legion Artifact Weapon Appearances (same method in Dragonflight): Warrior

Man im not playing anymore and legion was my last expansion that i played. I just miss them .most of these appearances i had them and especially the flamereaper red .and the wrath edge gold color and one more thing that many people don't know you can unlock the arcanite bladebreaker without the quest .you just needed a 1000 pvp kills and i know it because this is how i git it back them . Man i feel nostalgic. Nice video

Hello ^^ You have to go there physically with your character before you can use the toy to get there. So either use the portal to Azsuna (Broken Isles) and fly to Dalaran, or start the Legion questline through Chromie-time to get there through the scenario.

Strangely enough I have the purple tint of this weapon unlocked in spite of never unlocking the base weapon. Its possible that completing the challenge while using arcanite bladebreaker allowed me to get the purple variant without ever having unlocked the base version.

Yes! There is actually a (fortunate) bug with this. You can unlock a secondary tint of a hidden artifact appearance, which you don't have the base appearance for, IF you have unlocked a hidden appearance for a different artifact weapon. The bug is very old - not sure they'll ever get rid of it ^^'

Good evening, thank you for this excellent video, I have a slightly tricky question for you. I am a protection warrior, I have unlocked the weapon appearance of the mage tower in Legion. The tint I'm interested in is green: is it possible to unlock it by doing rated battleground in Arm Spec? Because I can't play protection in pvp, and I can't transmog a shield appareance on a Two handed weapon either, is having the weapon in my bags enough? Or do I have to do them while being in prot spec?

You're very welcome. Happy to hear you liked it ^^ You should be able to do the battlegrounds in any spec, as long as you're playing the same character that unlocked the base Mage Tower appearance back in Legion. Having the artifact in your bank should be enough too. Best of luck!

Thank you (: The PvP appearances are still unlocked through honor levels, which are account-wide. You just have to make sure you unlock the base artifact appearance by starting the Class Hall campaign on your character first. Moreover, it can take a few hours/a couple of logins for a new artifact appearance to appear in your journal just after you unlock it. Good luck!

I’ve seen several cases, where running a dungeon won’t register towards the appearance - it’s a bug. Try running Maw of Souls, which is what I did recently to get the appearance. I hope that works (:

How far have you progressed in the Class Hall campaign? You need to do a couple of quests and then Odin will offer you a quest to go and find the two artifact weapons for the other specs (:

Nope, any spec counts ^^ Which means you’ll also end up unlocking that tint associated with the Legion dungeons for all specs of that artifact appearance. If you’ve done the quest line for all three, that is.

It is no longer possible, unfortunately. You can complete the Mage Tower in Dragonflight (its being updated atm.), but it will reward you with an armor set instead. :/

If you didn't unlock the appearance during Legion when the Mage Tower challenge was up, I am afraid it is no longer available :( That challenge was only up for a certain period of time, as a Feat of Strength.

After the recent level squish with Shadowlands' release, Nighthold is quite difficult - if not impossible - to solo, unfortunately :( Even with a high ilvl. I recommend putting together a small group of well-geared people, if you want to run Legion raids.

Thank you so much ^^ Yes, that is the case for most of the artifact appearances, with a few exceptions: - The base color Hidden Artifact appearance - The Mage Tower challenge But achievements like Improving on History and This Side Up only needs to be done once, luckily!

I'd like to correct my mistake here. I looked it up, and seems This Side Up was meant to be account-wide, but it was never implemented! This means unfortunately, you have to do it on every single character - something I wish I'd sooner too.. The same goes for Improving on History. We can just hope Blizzard changes this soon.
