Just slide a standard paint scraper along from the top from the outside until you hit the latching bits and then push it square into the latch to disengage it. Just got back into mine 😂

Very useful, as I stupidly latched mine closed with the mechanism disconnected. I managed to unlatch mine by poking a screwdriver in from outside after cutting back a strip above the door. Knowing the 24cm measurement was very handy.

I was looking for that old oatmeal crisp commercial where the dad locks himself in the car in the garage and the daughter wants some of his cereal but he can’t give her any because the car door is locked and then she says….”thats because you just locked it?” I found the commercial but i thought i should tell you cuz its kinda funny.

The top left latch is stuck, I had this problem and had to drill a hand sized hole with a hole saw so I could reach in and push it down. See the end of the video

I closed my garage door earliar and turned the handle, does the lock engage on it's own because I have lost the key and the handle will now not open the latches, the garage door is a bit stiff though so will try open tomorrow

I show towards the end of this video how I managed to open my garage door (drilling a hand hole above the latch) the other way is to drill the lock out but that doesn't seem to be your problem

my handle is just spinning around and around. I have a large gap at the base. i am thinking to shape a hook on the end of a steel rod and try to grab at the diagonal rods. my locking mech is at the bottom not the top.

Can you tell me how to fix the handle not turning on the inside or outside? Our garage has the rails hanging down for the wheels to roll down.

Hard to say without seeing it. Can you not completely dismantle it?

@@HowToVideosAndTips Thanks for the response. I opened it up and I think a small piece of metal had broken off from somewhere. I got it to open and close alright but every time I put the enclosure back on it would jam up again. Just going to order a new one and change the lock over
