i obviously didn't have that shaver tool so I used a nail file on a safety pin and it totally worked! I had to open it it immedietly because of water damage otherwise I say go and buy one...only took me 5min to take apart:)

+Faiyaz Rahman if the damage was done by the screwdriver the main reason is that the ends of the screwdriver isn't really holding the pentalobe screw. Try sharpening the edge and you'll be fine.

Spooky Feller yes, not everyone has this shaper. You can use a knife and it works but if ur removing ur display frequently I wouldn’t recommend using a knife. Try sand paper might work. Cheers!
