Thank You, after 5 years of my Jura Ena 9 being unopened I discovered that there was a lot of coffee residue around the brew group. After seeing this instruction video it was a piece of cake to disassemble and clean the whole.

Great video, just opened up my ENA4!! I removed the brew group, cleaned everything out and working like a champ in about an hour!

Can you tell me how to open the ENA4 safely? The case is different to the one in the video, and I've not found anywhere online to show me

@Eunanibus Its a newer model that is why we do not have the video uploaded yet

Thank you very much for great instructions. Would you please explain how to open top cover of ENA9?
@jerzyiszoro83826 жыл бұрын
As to oval head screw, I took a dremel to it and (very carefully) cut the head across. Now I can unscrew it with a typical slotted screwdriver or, if need be, with a pen knife.

Thanks for sharing this great video. We had error code 8, opened the Jura first time in 5 years, it looked a little disgusting ;-) ... Cleaned everything, and works like a charm again. Probably should open and clean more frequently ;-) Thanks!

Your videos are terrific. Are you available to troubleshoot over FaceTime or zoom - for a fee? I just purchased a new Jura Ena Micro 9. It seems to have been banged up a bit during shipping. It keeps saying Close Cover (and yet the magnet is still there) and once opened, asks for powder. It WILL make powdered espresso. But then keeps reverting back to powder option. I took the covers off as you suggested, and dusted off all the loose coffee. Nothing seems to look broken. However, I cannot get it to use the coffee beans - which is my preferred coffee! It keeps saying close cover and wants me to make powder coffee.

Hello Parts Guru, Very nice video. It helped me a lot cleaning the brew group. But i have still some troubles with a dirty smell in the machine. I think the smell is coming from the outlet gate in front of the machine (connection between outlet and brew group). I need to disassemble this part of the machine, but how? Are there any screws or other things hidden in order to disassemble the outlet gate?

I know it is quite some time since the video is posted. On a Jura Ena 5 the funnel that lies on top of the brewing unit seems the same. Is there any video or can anyone tell me how can I remove that funnel and upper tube for ground coffee.. I think I have a coffee clot right there.

Don N I am tending to agree. I have an ENA 9 and I am trying to clean ing inside. I have watched most You Tube vids but I cannot for the life of me get the front oval head security screw out. Any manufacturer that makes things this difficult should be exposed.
@PartsGuruUSA6 жыл бұрын
Jura is a marketing company, not the manufacturer. The machines are actually manufactured by a company named Eugster and Frismag. The company has assembling plants in Portugal and China. Also, the new Jura machines are no longer ‘Swiss made’ as perceived by many consumers.

How do you remove the bottom panel on a Jura ENA Micro 90? There is a leak I can't see or access through the side panels.
@PartsGuruUSA4 жыл бұрын
Hi there, the bottom can’t be removed. The best I can suggest is to remove the right panel when facing the machine from the front. You can ship to us for repairs if you’re unable to find the leak.

Don't have an oval key? DIY! Get a piece of steel bar with 6mm diameter (I used M6 screw), drill it along axis at one end to depth about 5mm with 3,5mm drill bit and gently squeeze that end with vice making an oval hole from circular one :)
@PartsGuruUSA7 жыл бұрын
Hi Bratt, thank you for sharing useful information. I hope it benefits those without the oval head tool. Please note that doing so could wear the oval head screws out and so it may be extremely difficult to remove the oval head screws if worn out. That's why we have the oval head tool custom built in USA made in stainless steel to remove the oval head screws in Jura machines. That's the safest and easiest way to remove the oval head screws without wearing them out.

Hi Bratt, Thanks for the tip. I took a Phillips screw with a head #2 or bigger and just had to grind the head down to about

I took a piece of aluminium tube that had roughly 3.5mm inside diameter and squashed it. Made a perfect oval tool

Very useful video. One question, i need to replace the outlet valve on a Jura Ena 3. As you know the valve is located behind the electronic board. Do you have a video where you remove the electronic board? If i disconnect all plugs and the one screw on the side, will i be able to move the board? Thank you.
@PartsGuruUSA7 жыл бұрын
Hi, by outlet valve, do you mean the dispensing valve? The electronic board is screwed to the chassis, you can unscrew to remove it and replace the valve.
@giol76zzzz7 жыл бұрын
Parts Guru Yes. Just did. the plastic has been broken and I replaced it with a brass one. There is no steam leaking any more but I am still not getting the quality of froth milk I used to. maybe it is something additional. any thoughts?
@PartsGuruUSA7 жыл бұрын
I don't follow. Which plastic is broken? Was it the dispensing valve that was leaking? Please note that dispensing valve does not supply steam to the frothing wand. It supplies hot water from the boiler to the brew group. When was the last time you descaled your machine? If you have not descaled in the last six months or so, then, I suggest you thoroughly descale your machine. Run multiple cycles to remove calcium sediments from hot water passages inside the machine. Use the frothing wand again to steam the milk, that should help improve the steam flow.

Parts Guru I replace this part www.ebay.com/itm/272612859472?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2648&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT. When i was selecting "steam". Steam was leaking from the brew group outlet. When i replaced the part, it stoped. I descale very often (more often than the machine asks).

Hi, I personally have not in the Jura brew group even in the cockroach infested machines. Needless to say, you need to take apart the brew group, clean and sanitize it. What Jura model do you have? How long have you had this machine?

+chumbo Hi, in the ENA disassembly, we've shown how it's removed.
@willo79794 жыл бұрын
Sometimes the Jura emblem (logo) is so tight that you simply can't rotate it no matter you hold it. Here I'd found a subordinate way to undo it. Here you go: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rKXWYqugotujgrc

I don't think you need to remove the top plate. I used your trick to find the bottom clips and then tried at about the place you indicated for the top but simply went in without removing the top plate. No problems
@ryanwhittle86218 жыл бұрын
is it possible to remove the spout?
@VWaudiRULEs6 жыл бұрын
Yes but it's held together by small plastic clips on the sides and at the top. You have to carefully pull the outer cover apart without breaking anything. Then it opens up and you'll figure it out.
