@@AKSKMY Oh, good for you! Warranty policies from where I live is like "you chose to fiddle with a perfectly running product so if something happens to it from now on, it's on you" which kinda sucks for a task I can do with my eyes closed.

Like the engineering on this laptop. Typical Lenovo quality. Especially note there's a heat pipe for the mosfets/GDDR (not sure which) which should greatly boost reliability, and maybe even performance. Very nice touch that desktop systems usually take care of, but laptops seldom do.

I currently have a DDR4 3600MHz module (Desktop), but that speed is achieved through overclocking, otherwise it says 2333MHz. Does DDR5 memory also require overclocking to achieve the advertised performance?

Yes, you should be able to. The left NVME ssd slot, like in the video, should be unpopulated, so you can chuck a 2TB in there. I did that too recently 👍

This is Intel HX version. Legion Pro 5 don't have liquid metal, only Pro 7 has one.

I7 is losing on ram and on a lil the ghz for Ryzen but the 20 threads 14 cores and also it’s cooler so I would go with intel version

Apparently someone got 96Gb to work on this gaming laptop even and i have installed my new Kingston Fury Impact DDR5 64Gb 2x32Gb kit yesterday myself which works without any issues but at the 4800MHz speed which is the highest frequency my cpu allows. i7 13700HX 16 Core cpu.

The best way to upgrade is to keep the original SSD and RAM, if you want to claim warranty then replace back the original SSD and RAM... advised from my IT friend...😊
