Just did a set of Oem. The most under talked about tip in this video was the spreading snap ring pliers! First set I’ve ever done in the oven and took 5 min to get them free. Nice video

Did you remove bulbs and projector housing? Or did you just leave the cover on it and bake it with all that inside?

Ugh, wish me luck I ordered the TRS rubber sealant for my ram and I’m afraid I have opened a set of headlights before but I burned my first set so I’m scared cause of those memories but I’m gonna try to be patient. Worse fear is condensation will still be there but I hope it does fix it

Almost everything I've done are permasealed ram truck headlights, alpharex permaseal makes those factory projectors look like child's play 😂😂

Cardboard box "Oven". I feel your pain. I tried chemical ways, Mechanical ways, but best is a Cardboard box "oven" with the headlight sat on a few boxes to lift it off the floor, Hot air gun on low for 25 mins. Permaseal SUCKS!

Hey. I'm just wondering when you paint inside or outside lights do you use any heat-resistant paint or it's just standard paint? Xenon or HID's can be quite hot.

they just dip in zep degreaser and that's it?

Dope! If I can give any advice it’s to make sure you heat at 220°F for 20 minutes, then make sure as it cools, you heat it back up and instead of struggling to make progress once it’s cooled off.

Naw, it wasn’t about mods, just swapping lenses. The beauty is, we can EASILY open them back up now that they’re sealed with butyl.
