Two razer mice I've had in the past have had clicking issues not because the switches themselves malfunctioned, but because of the poor quality of the plastic "plungers" / "actuators" connected to the underside of the mouse shell. The plastic deteriorates and forms an indentation where the switch bump contacts it and therefore causes the clicks to become weak or bottom out. I would like to know if these new razer mice or any other particular brand or model have improved the quality in this area. It really doesn't matter that the switches are rated for 70 million clicks when the plastic pieces actuating them are only capable of maybe 10 million.
@Beardedbob4 жыл бұрын
I can't say I've heard of plunger wear but you can pad then out with tape to keep the click tight.

The main one is how you can swap the switches. This would be great if Razer does release some options for these. How the scroll wheel is help is different and works like a clamp keeping it secure. What is good is how they keep the side buttons in a solid block, this ensures they are very secure, but for me a little stiff.

@@southparkzoneguy True! But if Razer were to really cater to enthusiasts (as it seems they are trying to do with the Viper and the Huntsman TE), it shouldn't be too outlandish for them to eventually consider offering replacement switches for sale on their website at some point... You have some excellent content that no one else is doing so I appreciate it. One bit of advice though is instead of doing a montage and playing music for the entire build. Talk is through it at least the important parts. I noticed you do this in your testing videos too. Talk is through the reslults and compare etc. I’m sorry but just watching these videos with no context just doesn’t seem right. I think most people would agree with me

Np, thanks for the feedback. I've done that on a few but wasn't sure if people wanted it. I'll look to add this back in 👍

Hey bearded bob. I’d like to make a request that I feel gets overlooked. Could you please do a weight reduction video on the Logitech G600. Yes, this is an mmo mouse but I know that a lot of people out there use this mouse for mmos and would love to see a vid on how you can get this 130g+ mouse under 100g. Thumbs up if their are any mmo gamers out there that would like to see this!!!

Beardedbob That’s a interesting looking mouse but I along with I’m sure many other mmo players would love to see a weight reduction video of the Logitech G600. I feel it will be fun to see how you can get a mouse that is over 130g as low as possible! I hope you can make this happen and I look forward to the video 😁😁😁👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Hi Beardedbob. I am having some trouble with my viper ultimate. When I press the scroll wheel in from the front of the mouse, it feels squishy and squeaky instead of a firm click. Since you broke down the mouse I was wondering if you would know what is happening. Thanks.

Thank you for the video, do you know if this transparent logo with LED can be polished out? I mean if this surface is made of that transparent plastic and covered with black plastic? What do you think?

It sucks that you have to remove the feet to access the screws.
