The shell of this Wallnut is so thin... This trick won't work on Indian wallnuts...

Be careful with this technique. Some walnuts are hard to open and I stabbed my hand by accident with the knife even though I was trying to be very careful and had already used the technique a few times. Fortunately it wasn't too deep. It slipped through the shell when the nut opened

Same, so heres good advice: More force to the twist less in pushing knife deeper into the nut. Also this didnt worked well on nuts that I had, but they were fairly old I belive that it will work better on fresh ones

Tried this with uk Walnuts and they all split as they're not big enough. Maybe knife shape is super important.

when i do this one side of the nut cracks. i dont know what kind of walnuts youre using in the video but they seem to be way thinner than regular walnuts.

You probably have black walnuts, these might be English walnuts, depending on the area each of you is in

Go Vegan? Nope. Vegans love to eat crap like modified pizza. No thanks. You must have super strong hands and fingers. None of these techniques worked for me. The Shell of my walnuts are super hard.
