Love these videos as a KIA car owner myself. It feels like I'm levelling up with new things to learn about KIA cars every day! :)

I have the same key as you and if you don't have a screwdriver in hand just use the key you remove and use it to pry open and it's very easy. By the way, you have a lots of helpful videos, thanks a lot 🙏

There's a hidden keyhole on the doorhandle on some of the keyless entry/smart key cars. Found a video on KZbin that shows how to take the cover off of the doorhandle of my Seltos to get to the keyhole.

@@BrantfordKia Thanks! Y'all are the best. I wish I lived in Canada so I could lease my next Kia at your dealership. Y'all are such a huge help in me deciding which Kia I'm going to lease next. Or maybe even a Hyundai 🤔 More than likely trading my Starbright 2022 Seltos S for the 2024 Steel Gray. Love the Starbright yellow but HATE the dual clutch transmission. Thanks again!

Yes, you can get into the car with the key but you can't start your car without the battery working for the key fob to start your car. pout
@BrantfordKia8 ай бұрын
Yes you can! There will always be enough juice in the key fob to start the engine! (Just not to unlock/lock doors) If you have a push to start you will just have to touch the key fob to the start button. kzbin.info/www/bejne/oXzNpaierMdpsMksi=P0EPWxqv8ji4_FCb

@BrantfordKia thanks for the video link. If I ever have that problem again, I will try that. But now I carry spare batteries lol. Thank you again.

It can be a little tricky sometimes, you may have to move the key around and try multiple times. It’s very smart that you keep some extra batteries around though!
