Great info. If you run up on construction or an accident causing stop and go on flat road, disregard the coasting and go to one foot to increase regen during the stop and go.

Auto mode is by far the most economical way to drive the EV9, using the paddles to adjust regen intensity to control the speed of the vehicle. All these reviews report real world range of between 220 and 260 miles (350-400kM) but they are driving press cars that have been driven hard. A new GTS will have a real range of around 320 miles (500kM) when driven reasonably carefully within speed limits up to 60mph (95kph) and approximately 280 miles (450kM) at motorway speeds. I charged mine to 90% today and saw 336 miles on the GoM. These figures are for 20degC temperatures and will be lower in cold climates, however driving technique is a significant factor in getting the best out of the car at any temperature.

What's the reliability of charger information via the Kia EV9 navi app?

Unfortunately, the charging grid is what determines that more than anything. I'm not sure about Canada, but the next southern American country has a horrible non Tesla grid. It seems as though all the incentives were based on instalation and not maintaining fast DC charging speeds. Then Electrify America was a punishment settlement between Volkswagen and the EPA, so you can imagine the lack of effort they put into having working charging stations. What's sad is Tesla owners I know who also own an EV9 love the EV9 better but have to take their Teslas on roadtrips because of the unreliable non-Tesla charging grid.
