Today I'm sharing my honest review and how to operate my Von Hotpoint cooker 3 burners and one hotplate as well as an oven. The 3 burners use gas and the hot plate uses electricity. The oven also uses electricity. This is a great investment in my kitchen and it has worked so well for me this far.

Hi Annette, is it an electric cooker ?If it is then ,gas can only be used on the burners and the oven uses electricity.You can only use gas in the oven if it's a gas powered oven.Hope this helps.

The muffins baking trays are the legit way to bake so those ones one has to purchase. I use purchased ones for muffins/cupcakes as well.Today's video actually I did bake on one of my many baking sheets.

Hi dear does it have a plug provision?... my best advise is to consult an electrician or the shop where you purchased the cooker I'm sure they have the right info.

I have a question please, I have the von cooker but have just connected it with a normal socket. I do have the red socket and the other one written cooker but I've never known how to use them in my cooker. How do I connect my cooker with that socket?

Hi gal the cooker works best if you connect the black cable that is behind the cooker direct to the power souce provided in the kitchen area for that purpose. A proffessional i.e Electrician will assist you with that and then you can use your cooker perfectly including the oven .

I have a similar cooker and one of the knobs when pressed in its doesn't spark the gas to get lit. Can this be repaired or l have to be using a match stick always.

Hi Leah, I don't think that is supposed to happen, kindly check with your electrician if the appliance is fixed well to be safe , then try baking with it again , if it is fixed well the coating on the first days could have a different smell just like new pans and it will disappear soon.

Hi dear is it connected to electricity?It has to be connected to electricity and I'm sure it will .The black cable behind is the one that gets connected to your port of connection and you can use the electric functions of your cooker. Hope this helps.

Hi Nelly, you need to have an electrician connect your cooker to the electricity so that you can also use it for cooking if you like.The cooker comes with a black electric cable at the back that is for that job.Hope this helps.

Hi Flourence, I have not seen smoke with mine as long as what you are baking is not burning. As long as baking temperature or grilling temperature is observed I guess it's not supposed to happen.
