How to optimise your outposts for automatic deliveries of resources in Bellwright

So, im surprised that you set up a wheat outpost, i just built a farm and now have a full stockpile dedicated to only wheat, yes thats right, a full 400 units of wheat just sitting there being turned into straw, grain and ready to be made into flower, i honestly took what i needed to, made grains then grew my supply of wheat on the farm tile, ive done it with my other herbs and veggies too, at the point now where ill need a 2nd barn seeing as i already have 5 stockpiles and 1 of those 5 is also used for cooked meals and veggies. A question though, when my guys break their tools the tools disappear

The wheat outpost has produced something insane like 4500 wheat and filled a warehouse 😂 broken tools usually go back into the storage locally. Like the barn. Stick them in the workshop or workbench and they'll get fixed. For outposts you can set broken ones to return to the main base via deliveries and then new ones to go back to the outpost. I usually set that to happen weekly. Sometimes you have to move the broken ones to your workbench manually. Or just make sure some villagers are set to have delivery as one of their jobs.
