Great on your PC the fps went up 55%, but on mine it only went up around 30%, but thank you sir this is better than before

extremely good guide, the antivirus says that the files are completely safe, all the steps were easy to follow and doubled my fps from 15 to 35 or so, only problem i had was the game crashing when editing the shader.ini folder ( i just deleted everything there and turned read only off to fix it), aswell as the searchbar disappearing, not sure how to fix that last one besides reverting to a backup, maybe it had something to do with the dynamic tick stuff since im on laptop. Overall amazing guide and very trustworthy.

Hey thank you for the feedback. For the search bar, you can get it back by right-clicking on the task bar, Search and selecting Show Search Box.

Changing the amount of processors (CPU Cores) in the Advanced Boot Options is for testing and debugging and has absolutely no effect on performance unless you purposely tell it to use less cores than your CPU has. When that box is unchecked, which it is by default, Windows will use all available cores as you'd expect. There is no need for anyone outside of developers to ever touch this setting.

After doing this and using my restore point, I am now getting this startup error in Ark. Assertion failed: InSizeX [File:F:\build\lostisland\engine\source untime enderer\public endererinterface.h] [Line:101] I've verified, reinstalled, went back to an older restore point, etc. Is there a way I can fix this?

@@takermetal7660 I believe I found the solution to the error! It's the things we pasted into Scalability.ini from this video. Remove everything we added into this file and it shouldn't give that same error anymore. :)

If your cpu has 16 cores then it will be talking about those if it has 8 cores then it would be referring to threads

These are completely safe. Make a restore point before you apply registry tweaks.
