Additionally you can go to command propmpt and type in "powercfg -duplicatescheme e9a42b02-d5df-448d-aa00-03f14749eb61" (without the quotes) and then go to power plan in settings and you'll have an ultimate performance mode.

hello I have drops in fps with vulkan for 2 or 3 weeks whereas before nothing at all for several months but I have no drops in fps with normal r6 and I have a good pc I play in 165hz

Most likely driver update messed vulkan up, try the usual uninstall r6 and see if theres another new driver update

This is probably super late reply, but I’ve played through all hz. From 60hz to my current 360hz monitor. I’ve played PC for 8 years. There’s a huge difference between 60 to 144. Then there’s a another big difference between 144 to 240. It’s EXTREMELY noticeable. Now from 240 to 360 it does get difficult to notice. Will you be better immediately? Nope. But over time it helps and you’ll slowly improve with it.

Try the usual stuff if this vid wasnt enough, driver updates, game reinstalls, turning off the overlay. 9900k tops out around 470 avg frames iirc

not sure if steam siege changes things but im on uplay siege / windows 10

the reason you cant see compatibility setting is probably due to the file being on read only if you uncheck read only more options including compatibility settings appear after this you want to recheck the read only box to ensure that youre pc doesnt change anything in the file

excuse me but you have tested the dlss I have just taken r6 and the dlss by activating it is seen that it reduces "mechanically" the resolution of the game. I'm sure that the latency is better according to the dlss. I wanted to know why you didn't put the dlss on or didn't know about it

I didnt include DLSS at the time of making the video because at that time i was getting microstutters on some of the settings. Thats on me for not mentioning it. If I do make a follow up video ill cover it and retest in case maybe it was just the drivers I was on at the time causing them

Was testing out ulmb at 240 vs native 360 before deciding to record the video, didnt notice i was still running 240 borderless. Ulmb doesnt have the fluidity of 360hz but the clarity would come in handy in more tracking titles like apex.
