UPS stores is a great alternative if the package is too large or lockers aren't available. They have virtual mailboxes and I think they charge $5 per delivery

Amazon lockers are such a life saver for people who travel a lot and a lot of times you can get your delivery the next day depending on when you ordered it.

Hi there! Love your channel - been following you for a while now (you actually inspired me to get a Bilstein lift for my Tacoma in order to tow better!) Anyway, have a question which just struck me as i was watching this...since you travel so much and change spots so ofteb, I'm curious how after driving to the Circle K for the locker and fuel, you knew where exactly your trailer was parked! Seems like a silly question. I'm guessing you stick a pin on Google Maps where it's located? I'd likely lose the direction where I needed to go to get back to it! haha

That is actually a great question! Yes, I use Google Map pins. It's the only way I ever know where I parked the trailer. Hope the suspension is treating you well!

I would be interested in Cass’s take on this too. My wife and I do a lot of remote dry camping and I always have concerns about leaving the travel trailer although we have never had a problem. We have camped in places where things are a little sketchy so if we need something from town we pull it with us. RV’s are easy to break into so we never leave valuables behind. Always use a hitch lock. Ultimately, if we have serious concerns about safety we just don’t camp there.

I agree with a lot of Jack said. I do have a minor worry every time I leave the RV, but nothing has ever happened. I use a hitch lock and make sure everything is locked when I leave. I also have a wifi camera that alerts me if there is any movement. If a location doesn't feel safe, then I won't stay nor will leave the RV alone.

Hi! There really isn't much exterior storage at all. I store the water hose in the front propane cover, but the wheel chocks and blocks are stored in my truck.

Order a lightweight, two step ladder to carry with you when you pick up from Amazon lockers. Once you have the ladder you will never need to use it, but if you forget to bring it with you your package will be out of reach. Just the way things work 😀

Hi Cass - Could use your input. My Business and vertical are kinda "Analog". I short. Our invoices have to be printed out and sent in postal mail. Clients send physical check to corp office. Can be 2-10 checks / week which I have to physically have possession to either snap shot it or if to large in $ amount - take down to the bank. Question. Do you have any Idea or suggestions to be able to do this on the road or can it be done via a forward service. Or, just pay someone local to take down to bank to deposit. Thanks for the input.

That's a tough one due to the frequency that you have to have the checks in hand. I use a mail service that scans in my mail and sends me screenshots. When I was originally looking for mail services, I do feel I saw some that could deposit money. I'd recommend searching the internet to see if any kind of mail service is available where you can just have them process items for you.

In the picture you'll see a red thing on the front of the trailer hitch. That is a hitch lock. It's not a very secure one (I have recently found out), so shopping for a better one soon.

It does make me nervous, yes. But at the same point I have done it many times and no issues. I make sure everything is locked up and I do have a lock on the hitch as well.

Sorry but I don’t use amazon. I try and find small businesses and their own websites. Amazon has made billions while small businesses suffer. The small businesses selling on amazon need to find other sources and we need to help their businesses directly. Amazon is so easy. Such a good source. But I’m just tired of the big box biz makin all the money while every one else loses. Just my 2 cents.

Absolutely a good 2 cents to put out there. I also try to support small businesses when possible, but with traveling on the road, unfortunately shipping items can be so much more expensive when I have to pay for package pick up.
