We have a Basecamp 20X and two GC3s. We also have the same Dishy Starlink setup and a Victron Multiplus II inverter/charger. I didn't hear you mention, but if you use the Victron smart dongle along with a Victron SmartShunt it will calculate the remaining time of charge based on usage. It has been a great tool to know what is happening so there aren't any surprises. We will be heading to CO soon and it will be our first test with the new battery setup. Safe travels!!

Thanks for doing this video! I have 2 dogs about the size of Jasper, and I am currently using a 2" topper that is not comfortable at all, want to add a thicker foam mattress and happened on your video. Have you thought of trying to make a seam on the mattress to make it easier to fold/move around? Like you, I've ended up with a fitted sheet on the bottom and a duvet cover with a quilt inside, make setup and clean up easier. I love the smaller blankets to keep dog-much off the bed.

What is the verdict on the Ram?

Mine is a Class C Motorhome towing my Jeep. My routine is to pull into the Wal-Mart and park in an easy spot and "take my dog for a walk". My motivation is to pick the better spot to park for the night and move to it after 1800h. I look for the cargo delivery area so I can stay away from it. Heavy trucks may make deliveries all night long and I don't want them to have to maneuver around me. The end of the store with the Auto Center is usually the best because the center closes earlier than the store. I routinely run my generator and have yet to be called on it. I suppose that unwritten rule was made in the era when generators sounded like lawn mowers. Be sure to pick up after your dog and don't allow them to bark when you are away (that was the only complaint ever lodged against me after dozens of such stays). Small amounts of trash can be left in the remote lot containers. AND another unspoken rule is to shop at the store where you are parking, kind of like Harvest Hosts. 🚒🚙

Aside from the types of rvs cooking at homes cleaner healthier and adds up a lot in today's prices makes up for gas car payment and insurance instead of eating out and avoids getting sick it's fun to eat at places though it's a routine thats good for traveling
