This video is great And simply explain each and every conversation. This is so helpful to anyone who is learning korean basics.😊 감사합니다 선생님❤ Teacher, I have a small issue with the word 물냉면, can you please explain this a little bit more?
@koreanmorning
@koreanmorning Ай бұрын
물냉면 is cold noodles in a chilled, tangy broth (usually beef or radish water kimchi). The noodles are chewy, made from buckwheat or sweet potato starch, and it’s topped with cucumber, pear and boiled egg. Perfect for a hot summer day!

@koreanmorning
@koreanmorning Ай бұрын

Thank you! Sometimes there are restaurants that serve lamb, but usually when you go to a Korean BBQ place, they only have beef and pork. By the way, lamb skewers are popular in Korea😄

I've heard that it's hard to find a bbq place where you can eat alone. How many people do you generally need in order to eat in most bbq restaurants?
@koreanmorning
@koreanmorning Ай бұрын
That’s right. But these days, there are more and more BBQ places that accept solo diners. So it might be a good idea to ask when you visit a restaurant. Typically, when two people go, they eat about 3 to 4 servings😊

모닝 선생님, do we still call the server with 여기요 and 저기요? I noticed there are bells are iPads used for ordering.

That's right, these days we often order using a bell or tablet. But if those aren't available, you can raise your hand and say "저기요"😊

피곤해요 😴 Oh yes, I'm tired because today was really hard at work. But your video makes me feel happy 😄 and more curious about korean culture ☺️❤🇰🇷❤️ The restaurant is so nice and charming and the meals seem to be delicious 😋 I don't know why I'm hungry now 🤔😜😊 When I go to Korea next year, I will take a great barbecue with various meals. Yummy yummy 🤤 I will keep you a place to my table 👌😊👍 I just wanted to know : after the order, does the staff bring the meals already prepared or is there a barbecue gril at the middle of the table where people can prepare their meals? I think it depends of restaurants 🤔 Thank you so much for this useful video. I will review it tomorrow with your e-book 😊 Please take care of you and see you next time. By the way, nice sweat. I was right when I said it would suits you very well. You're truly beautiful 😘🥰☺️ Bon appétit Suyeon 또 만나요 👋😍❤️🇰🇷😘

When you go to a restaurant, they usually give you raw meat, and you grill it right at your table on the grill. Some restaurants have staff who grill the meat for you, while at others, the customers do it themselves. At the restaurant I went to, we grilled the meat ourselves. Be sure to try it when you come to Korea!😄👍 좋은 하루 보내세요✨

Isn't pork shoulder 돼지 어깨? And, 목살 is pork neck? Or is this iterchangeble? Don't wish to order wrong items.
@koreanmorning
@koreanmorning Ай бұрын
In Korea, what is commonly referred to as "돼지 목살" is actually part of the shoulder area. That's why, in English, it's often called shoulder, Boston butt, or butt naturally. These terms all refer to cuts from the upper part of the pig, which includes both the neck and shoulder regions😊
