How to organize stickers so you'll actually use them :)

I have done my sticker organization on a budget. I buy those small plastic photo albums at thrift stores for 50 cents and currently have 7 of them where all my stickers are stored. Each book as a style of stickers. Someday when I decide to invest more I would definitely do it your way.

Oh my gosh… I literally spent 5 hours doing this last night!!! Destashing and organizing. I don’t use a disk system, but I had picked up some new sticker albums from simply gilded in the Black Friday sales. I have a whole gift bag filled with stickers, journaling cards, velum and washi tape to pass on to a friend. Feels so good to have things organized!!!

I also use a discbound system for my sticker book (I’m basically obsessed with discs 😅) but instead of having pockets on my discs, I do sticker release paper. I transfer stickers from their original sheet onto the sheet in the discs and that way I don’t have to take my stickers out of a pocket to use them. Also knowing me I’d forget to put them back in sometimes and end up with a mess One way I battle sticker hoarding is to buy mostly digital stickers. That way I can hoard the digital ones but they don’t take up space. I also don’t worry about using my favorites because I can always print more if I run out

Where do you find the disc punched sticker paper? I was just thinking this could be a great solution, but not sure where to source the pages! Great tip :)

I did a big haul of stickers from Planner Kate on Cyber Monday, and I got a sticker album from her in the same order. And it’s all organized in there and it’s so freaking satisfying to flip through

I just started organizing my stickers this week :) I got a couple of ‘sticker sheet’ albums and want to get all my stuff sorted and organized by 2024. There’s not a TON of ‘structure’ to it tbh but it’s kind of ending up with one book is more deco and one book is going to be more functional and icons. The goal in 2024 is to use more of what I have on hand! 2023 was such a year of experimentation and I now have a solid collection of stickers and washi tape so it’s time to USE that and be intentional about my ordering moving forward.

You never cease to amaze me! I thought I had my sticker storage system down packed but now Isee what you use and I had to go an purchase the sticker album from Cricket paper Co. to emulate your organization!

I love the Poi & Hun sticker books as well and just ordered a few more with extra pages during their BF sale. Can't wait to organize the rest of my stickers!

I use the disc system from Planner Kate to organize my stickers. Like you, Julie, I have a billion other binders, but the things I reach for first are in the disc binders with pocket pages of the right size to hold each type of sticker. (I'm REALLY intrigued by those Poi & Hun quad pages you have!) I have all my Planner Kate kits in one binder, I have all my TCMC stickers in another binder (which has pages with two pockets, the perfect size for TCMC/OnceMoreWithLove), and I have the largest size for huge kits. I'm using a Hobo Cousin right now and I really need to purge/sell/giveaway a lot of older 7x9 PK kits. A 7x9 planner to me is like, way tooooo huge.

It takes time! You’ll find a system that works for you so you can use those stickers!

I would love to use a disc system. Unfortunately they came out right after I finally caved on the albums 😂 so I stick with what I’ve got 🙂 but I also don’t have so many different size sheets. Mines 90% PK stickers on standard sizes.

What size discs are you using? The gold ones?

I think a mini happy planner is 7 discs but I'm not sure offhand. The classic is 9, and the big 11.

@@JuliesPlans Haha oh okay, gotcha! I have a similar set up - recently went thru and decluttered a bunch of my stickers & gave them to my students. Planning on doing a round 2 soon!
