Indexing and I name all my bullet journals after Philippine God and Goddesses. So when I thread my bujos, I can remember them well.

I love how seriously you take your journaling! You always have such creative ideas to expand on the bujo method!

👍🏾Such a great idea!!! I have to start this method. Many of my notes get lost in my many journals, even when I use an index. I believe this will help connect my thoughts, ideas, and plans when I need to refer to them in the future!! Thanks Matt👍🏾👍🏾

Love your system. I use too many journals and your threading idea is absolutely stunning. Will you please do a video only compromising of collection. I am still bit stuck with collection.

Dear Matt, I use something similar but also use indxd.ink it provides a great interface to index notebooks/find info and any changes get downloaded to my Evernote account with the option to have it emailed. Love redundancy!

This is super helpful. I can see myself utilizing this as I’ve been reading through some of my old journals since being on lockdown. Just need to give them names. Also, do you pick your thumbs?

Thanks Matt! Any thoughts on using Notion for this? Might be easier, unless of course you prefer paper. Nice video! 👍

Yes! I think Notion does this really well, though it can be *too* easy to duplicate ideas and pages. Have you tried Roam for their threading? I really like it.

Great system! Just a quick question what pen did you use for the text in white?

Matt, how do you thread if you’ve already written something, say 3 months ago, and now the idea has popped up again because of something happening that prompted more writing? Do you use the index to find where those first notes were, or do you browse till you find it?
@MattRagland
@MattRagland 4 жыл бұрын
Hey Luann, yes Indexing and collections can be helpful, but ultimately I often still end up browsing to find connected ideas!

I recall you used to name your diaries after mountains, no? I remember incorrectly or you changed your system?
@MattRagland
@MattRagland 4 жыл бұрын
Isheeria yes! I still do this but thought this was easier to explain for a first time bullet journal setup. Good catch!

I'm sorry, but these references are mostly a means of reinforcing endless procrastination of the real things that need to be nurtured in life through journaling.

Seems like a full time job just documenting and cross referencing all this. No thanks. GTD. Get things done
I did this for 800 days and it changed my life
