Hello my friend. I still post regularly mostly on Instagram and Facebook. It’s much easier than editing and posting longer content on KZbin.

Welcome back! My task categories are "desk stuff" (aka. accomplished while sitting on one's backside) and "chores." That way I can easily find something to work on when I need to get up from the desk and get the circulation back in my legs. ("Exercise" is one of the daily chores, so the whole thing does get a little meta...)

I like your definition of desk stuff. Lol.

Good morning Tonya and greetings from Edmonton, Alberta. Really enjoyed your little video here. Am I safe in assuming that you are out of Franklin Covey now? As for me, I have experienced serious self-disciplinary challenges in even opening mine up. I have not changed out the monthly refill for almost three months now. I only work part-time (21-hours/week) now, and my days are not too filled with activity either. I am beginning to think that maybe Franklin Covey is a real "overkill" for me at this stage of my life! Have a nice day.

You might want to look into bullet journaling. (If you're doing web searches, you might put in the phrase "minimalist bullet journaling," because some people think that a bullet journal is primarily art journaling, which is not how it got started.) Ryder Caroll's site gives a nice intro. (In my opinion, however, he does not give nearly enough attention to repeating tasks. There are plenty of unofficial blogs and videos on how to deal with that sort of thing.) long story short, you find a blank notebook and you make up your own planner formats. I've used both dotgrid and lined notebooks, none costing over $5, for years now. It's wonderful being able to tweak the planning process and record keeping in ways that precisely meet one's own needs. I'm retired now and doing some freelance work out of my house, so my planning looks quite a bit different from someone who's working outside the home full time, etc. you can also make up customized tracking systems for habits and goals or special events or medical symptoms, etc. it's amazing how useful a blank page can turn out to be.

I had posted a fairly detailed reply about bullet journaling. Short version is you might want to look into it because it's extremely flexible by definition and can be as involved or simple as you like. If you do a search I recommend using the phrase "minimalist bullet journal". The phrase "bullet journal" has been taken over by people who use it to mean art journaling which is an entirely different thing.

Hey my friend. Since your life is less busy, maybe you need a more simple planner. You are correct, I no longer use Franklin Covey products as I have my own planner line, but I deeply respect all I have learned while using their planners.

I'm trying to figure out when i should start planning to purchase all what I need before the new year begins. Thanks!
