I paid $2K for a self-publishing course as a writer. This felt like a $100K college degree on how to write anything I want. Cole, this is the best piece of content I've seen in a LONG time 🔥🔥

My mother ended up as an English teacher after teaching Latin, French and Spanish. One if her sayings was: the more detailed the outline, the easier it will be to write your paper or book. Another point she made was: "petit a petit, l'oiseaux fait son nid.". Translated : little by little the bird makes his nest. In everything we do, it's much easier to do small tasks . Like making lasagna tonight: Cook the beef and the onions Ricotta cheese and 2 eggs with parmesan cheese in that Slice the onions and peppers and cook them Since this was a gluten free lasagna the nexy thing was: Slice the zucchini into planks and cook that in the skillet. All the parts were ready to go, just had to assemble and add the sauce and extra cheese on the top!!! Yummy 😋. Yes, writing is simply like making a lasagna: outline, layers, and extra cheese on the top. For the writer the extra cheese is using good vocabulary and sentence structure. It needs the flow.....like the sauce. Miss Monique 🙂🎉😊

This is brilliant! Thank you. I'm a leading authority in my field and subject, I've learned that you can know your subject, give lectures, and write articles, but writing a book is a whole different ball game. Until today, I've struggled to write my book. Thank you. I can now confidently begin to write my book again and complete it. Thank you, Nicolas. You are a lifesaver.

Excellent presentation. I’ll have to watch this about three times.-I did find a useful tip for those sub chapters and that was talking to my phone on the way to work and back and then mail the story to myself. The grammar always messed up but the point is I have something on paper as a springboard. I also noticed that if I say the same story into the phone on three different days, I’ll usually end up with one really good sentence or thought to add to the overall storyline. This is just brainstorming the real workers making an all clear. but if you’re stuck at the keyboard, speaking into the phone can help things along

The most real thing about every video you make is the way you visibly hate the way something sounds when you're drafting it and you just keep right on going... as a professional writer should! Doing a subtle but important service to the writing world by just doing that visibly.

Very timely video, thanks. Stuck at 10k word and overwhelmed with my book. The main takeway for me: An outline will give me a end in sight. At this moment I don't know what "done" looks like. But I think the outline will evolve as I write more and get new ideas.

5:19-5:27 I like that you didn't say "If you can EXPAND your thinking." I could have said it is expanding my thinking. But it is really compressing, because the mind feels bigger than the human.

Though this was all accurate it did not emphasis how vital good outlining is. Outline ten times write once is much more efficient than outline never write ten times.
