1. You are not selling anything. You are giving them an opportunity to change. 2. Don't use formal language. 3. Don't say "you are experiencing a problem", say "you might be experiencing a problem". 4. Avoid "better" at all costs. Be different. 5. You want to be a painkiller, not a vitamin. 6. You want to emphasize the result, not necessarily the process. 7. You want to write copy for one specific reader. 8. You don't sell the customer on your brand, you educate them on your category. 9. Teach, don't sell. 10. Never blame the customer. 11. You wanna separate writing copy for insiders vs outsiders. 12. Whenever possible you wanna try to ground any argument with a shocking statistic. 13. Use "according to". 14. You wanna organize information into lists as much as possible. 15. Don't oversell the problem, just say what it is. 16. [Wasn"t said] 17. Give your customers new language to talk about the new problem you are educating them on. 18. Remind the customer what will happen if you don't. 19. You always sell and emphasize the benefits, not the features. 20. You want to as much as possible to remove the fear of buyers remorse. (Yes, they were 19 in total, the number 16 was never said)

Excellent as always! The takeaway for me is that elite sales copywriting is basically an informal, empathetic conversation with someone you know. Cole, you Mark McGwire’d this explanation again! Thanks Bro! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

This tips are great, they touch the human behavior that influences the thinking which leads to buying something. This are very helpful in avoiding things that might push the customer away just because of the words or the tonality we use in our copy. Thanks for the tip cole as always!

Hey Cole, Thank you for your tips, very insightful. A challenge I tackled as part of your PGA was figuring out the best way to approach writing. In a recent video, you discussed batching, and I’m wondering if this technique can also be applied to improving the writing process. For example, do you focus solely on writing first, then edit everything (e.g., a chapter), and handle formatting separately, or do you prefer to do everything in one go? Maybe you could elaborate on your style of working in a future video.

Great topic idea. Will add to my list! Short answer tho is yes I tend to batch different writing components too

Great summary of quick tips and reminders about bad habits we may have had drilled into us by a career in corporate committees. Easter egg: There is no # 16. #15 happens at around 22:43, #17 at about 24:05, but sixteen disappears somewhere over the Bermuda Triangle... 😉

I love all this, I am having a hard time with a client who sells womens clothing and swimwear. I'm just stuck. Her clothing is beautiful and very elegant but nobody is buying. I love the idea of categorizing and subcategorizing but the only thing I can come up with is the "What's in it for me" approach. Women buy clothing that makes them feel good, makes them happy, but not sure how to apply something more pain point directed. Any suggestions. I'm not a 30-30 member yet.

To become a better digital writer, would you recommend reading? I read that by reading across different genres, you will get a good grip of various writing styles. Or, more specifically, do you agree with reading works of copywriters online? When you first started out a s a beginner copywriter, did you read a lot? What did you read?

If you're going to use an abbreviation/contractions, it might be a good idea to make sure that your interlocutor is from the same village as you. Otherwise, they might not understand the words you were too lazy to pronounce in full. Like me, for example. Not being a native speaker...

Hi Nicolas. I just purchased your Ship30 course a few days ago. However, I did tell you that even though I've bought it, I want to start it properly in August. I did email you 3 times telling you that I have received the 2 emails that I'm supposed to get after I've bought the course and one of the emails say to click now . I only haven't pressed that button yet, because I want to start it properly in August. I don't think you saw my emails regarding this. So can u please tell me what to do here?
