My favorite little plotting trick is the “yes, but- no, and” idea. The guy saves the girl, but it turns out she didn’t want to be saved. The guy didn’t save the girl AND he lost his sword battling the dragon. Complications abound.

Thank you Katie, you convinced me to prepare more for November. I always think about participating but time arrives too fast and I bail but not this time, hell no!! I heard the 7 point story structure before from the creators of Rick and Morty and as soon as I heard it, structure of the show made more sense in my head and I think I should try that again for November :) Good luck
