How to Outsmart the Scalpers!

One thing about shrouded that isn't mentioned anywhere enough is how good of a set it is for players. I have 60+ night stretchers alone. Some really fun cards in this set and dont forget fenz ex. Idk where it is now but was a $10+ half art ex card for the longest. Low # of variants, whole set inc higher rarities fit in a 4 pocket binder. Amazon got sameday delivery all the time for bundles @24.99, and etb for $37.99. Before SSP dropped, everything was closer to wholesale than msrp. SCR/PAR/SFA all might come back down when the new stuff restocks. (600-700 per booster case again maybe) Best time to rip is always when packs are close to $3 each.. doesnt really matter what set, its a buy @ $3 per pack. Dont buy SFA at msrp. It will be here another year before fomo jumps its price up overnight. 2026 will be its year to blow up

@PokeVaultFlorida yessir, shout out to MHdeals for that one. Booster bundles were $17 then too. I spent like 1500 between the 1 case of bundles bundles, 3 cases of etbs and 1 of all the boxes/blisters for the variants/promos. Also ripped 7 PC etbs to grade its promo. Kept 1 of everything for the PC. I only keep 1 sealed of each set for my PC

​@PokeVaultFlorida that's the only SFA product I would buy at MSRP, ngl though I'm only sending 2 promos to grade, the rest i didn't want to risk getting a 9 on it. One 10 worthy promo per case on avg for me. SCR was the same for the PC promo toos too

Stellar Crown is a great set with some awesome fullarts. Its getting hard to find under TCGPlayer Prices.

@@jacobvecchio5851 silver tempest will go up but at its cost now I would keep it a collector item. Not rip it. Etbs you can find for about $45ish and they look great in a collection. Ripping them would be more cost-effective if you want to rip something.

The exact same thing is happening in one piece 😭 prb 01 the first anniversary set got bought out like no tomorrow, KZbinrs buying cases one KZbinr bought six cases thats like 6,500 plus English, I only managed to get two booster boxes opened 1 kept the other sealed, Pokemon is king MTG One piece and other TCG's are doing well enough but not as well as Pokemon 😅

im in marion county and the south east side all the walmarts might restock the pokemon cards 1 time a month if even i talked to someone the other day who drove from orlando said he came to the sticks thinking there would be alot more cards i laughed at him the scalpers are everywhere here i cant even get anything anymore just trying to collect and open.

I'm sorry to hear that. I'm up in jacksonville, and all the stores are cleaned out every week. I was at one of the Walmart around here, and there were 7 people deep for the restock. I turned and walked out.

@@jeremybachelder1197 that's good. I was able to get 1 restock right before the 17th for 2 etbs and 2 binders. I'm giving away 1 binders and more then likely doing a giveaway for a etb later. I don't try to sell anything I get from Walmart. I always try to leave some for others.

I got back to the hobby last month as a casual player and collector. I've been collecting Shrouded Fable and Stellar Crown and I just don't get it why people hate on those sets! Art is great, SF has tons of playable cards. Well, I won't complain as long as I'm being able to pay around 3 euros per pack...

@ you got a point my son loves the set and Its his fav. We opened 3 etbs and around 15 bundles of SF. It i think its bc the main Pokémon are not as popular as others in the line up. I like to collect so my goal is to get 1 of each etb for S&V.

Funny enough I ordered a box of Stellar crown and Temporal Forces from Pokemon Center last night. I just got into the hobby so all sets are equally new to me. I was mostly focused on Shrouded fable but I have most cards so I dont see it worth opening more of those but buying what I'm missing instead. I want to get into playing the game so im also collecting cards to make decks so I can play at my local card shop. Even if I cant get my hands on some of the things I want like twilight or surging sparks I dont mind waiting a bit for those simce I already spent a lot of money might as well enjoy the sets I can get my hands on as they are also new to me. Also the other day at my local walmart there was 2 2 pack blisters left. I grabbed both and from both I pulled a special illustration rare from obsidian flames. Got the ninetales and the revaroom ex. I couldn't belive how lucky I was given it was only 2 obsidian flame packs back to back.

@ prismo, will be the only thing on shelf’s at some point too many cards needed to collect for a master set they’ll need to print it out; just completed surging yesterday, hoping they don’t reprint because those cards will early double up because they are focused on prismo and moving forward; no one is complaining about surging sparks ⚡️

I already opened so much shrouded, but even I trying to collect all the cards and product for this am having a hard time. The collection boxes are nowhere to be found and people online charging double their price which is a no for me.

Buying 8.5 at retail price, reselling at a fair decent +50% price, because Finding items also takes time, especially, when doing it the right not trash way. And buying some more 151 and others for long terme investment. I don’t know if I could see 8.5 doing soooo well to the sky in 10 years
