i did everything that was instructed in the video provided. After i set the rate to 8000 and clicked install, my controller now shows the rate at 8000 and the Binterval is 4 and the whole section is red and there are no longer any names for the controller.

you have to extract the file. The install service will not work if you do not have the files extracted.

For anyone still looking for a solution to red colored box and controller not working after this, in windows 11: 1. Open the registry editor on W11 (regedit). 2. Go to this path "Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\CI\Policy". 3. Add a new DWORD (32-bit) value, name it "UpgradedSystem" and leave the value on 0. 4. Restart PC 5. Follow the usual steps to overclock your controller as you did on W10.

@@jackyyy4881 What exactly is your problem? I had an issue with red window showing instead of green one and I have found these propositions in the internet and it helped me. Just press Win+R and type "regedit", press enter then go to this file: "Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\CI\Policy" Once you did it, create new DWORD (32-bit)file and rename it to "UpgradedSystem" and do nothing more. After PC restart, try again what this man is showing in his video. Hope it's gonna help ya ;)

go to windows settings- update and security- recover- advanced restart- advanced startup settings, then press 7 when ur computer retarts make sure your keyboard is plugged in it will not work with bluetooth keyboard

Thanks for the tutorial super simple and faster, Unfortunately, this messes up gyro. It gives input to the controller that wasn't inputed. If someone is able to get this to work with gyro and doesnt have any issues Id love to hear what I am doing wrong lmao!

I may have gotten it to work I set it to 1000hz instead of 8000 and am getting 1000hz polling rate as reported by DSX and it doesn't seem to have messed up gyroscope yet, will do more testing.

Thanks. Picked up a DualSense to replace my T4K (which does 1000hz with the software) since I hated the plastic feeling of that controller and more games are supporting the DS features, and this made the DS feel so much more responsive in a few games I tested.
