I ck my phone first thing in the morning, during work breaks (10, 12,3:00) and after work. I will ck it after dinner and before bedtime. On the weekends ck every couple hours or so in between cleaning, laundry, etc. I ck my email or Facebook a couple times a day. I record the local and nightly news and fast forward thru any stories I don’t want to see. I record “Inside Edition” for fun news and of course movies on Hallmark and some HGTV shows. I listen to some decluttering u-tubers and you while doing bills, cooking, dishes, etc., or just relaxing with a cup of tea. This allows for certain times of the day for doing boring jobs or making lists and also for downtime to just enjoy the day. Happy new year🎉❤

I told God tonight that if I didn't see a completed project in my house soon, that I may give up and not try anymore. I am beyond WORN out.

Be sure to take care of YOU first.

Is the project worth completing? Can you give it away or throw it away? How important is it to you versus your time and calmness. Set a timer to clean out that cupboard. Give away extra mugs or bowls you have left when time is up. Give yourself grace to only deal with what you really want. You are worthy of a nice home and calm mind. God helps those who help themselves…He is with you always❤

I think that for women, having a big house is the greatest contributor to the feeling of not being able to to get anything done. Like you said, it's just too much. When I look at a big beautiful house, the first thing I think is how much cleaning it will involve. The only way I would ever own a house like that is to be able to afford cleaners and gardeners, etc. Otherwise it becomes a horrible burden. I would never want my home to be a human-owner.

There were many years that I wanted a big house - NOW - all I want is to downsize 😊

I have autoimmune issues, and i learned to rein it in. some maybe be upset, but i have a few that were friends but i felt pressured so i just stopped contacting them because they didnt get it. the last one is a shopaholic, i live on ssa and barely make ends meet, and she wanted to go to kohls and home goods,,, go to the movies and have lunch that i could not afford. And she didnt want to just have e mail chat, she wanted to talk on phone. i cant afford expensive phone plans and keep adding on if i run out. I do facebook with friends and family, she didnt want to do that. i just made to decision to not talk to her anymore, I dont need the stress.
