when i was in london a month ago, i used a chafing stick on my entire foot and in between my toes (lol) and put blister bandaids on the toes that i know would rub together more and it SAVED my feet-- didn't get a single blister!

Such a genius packing idea! I'm confused though - does the airline not count the garment bag as an item? Most US airlines permit one carry on luggage and a "personal item" (aka handbag). I would love to do this for my next biz trip if it's something they let you do!?
