For those that are new to ebay or shipping in general, make sure you take off, cover up or draw a line through the bar codes with a black sharpie (the barcodes that is NOT the shipping label). Because the other bar codes will confuse the scanner when the package is on the conveyor belt. It will kick it to the side and then a mail handler will have to scan it by hand. I did Christmas casual (temporary mail clerk) at the post office and I have seen enough....

I love these videos the noise of resizing boxes paper tearing tape dispensing all sounds like money to me The more noise you make means more packages means more solds and more money keep it up it is a great inspiration

26:42 I absolutely agree and I think a lot of what drives the differences in packing styles, methods, and preferences is all the ways each individual reseller has been burned by poor packing on their part or other issues that arise once the package leaves their custody. Love your videos! Last week was my first time shipping liquids and according to USPS anything over 4oz must be triple packaged/bagged before the outer package. From USPS: “All nonmetal containers of liquid more than 4 ounces, including plastic containers, and metal containers with friction top closures, must be triple-packaged, and include absorbent material capable of absorbing all of the liquid in the container(s) in case of breakage, a leakproof secondary container, such as a watertight can or plastic bag surrounding the primary container(s), and an outer mailing container that is securely sealed, strong enough to protect the contents, and durable enough to withstand normal processing in Postal Service networks.”

When I have to resize a box I like to tape the top shut and resize the bottom. That way the “pretty side” where the label goes is what the buyer sees when it arrives.

When you bring a box with the Hazard label to the counter, the clerk will add a yellow hazard sticker to the box with additional info on it after scanning the label. They told me the box gets sorted separate from all other mail.

I had to turn the volume on mute. The way Lonnie pulls the tape actually woke me up out of it sounds asleep lol. So hes on quiet duty lol. I write the item number on the package. Then on the label when I print it. Then I just have to match numbers.

Love your Video's You and Candace are my Favorite Reselling Couple! You have taught me so much, and LOVE THESE SHIPPING VIDEO'S thank you! I do have a question.... I recently shipped (3-30-24) Magic Mixes Pixling Exclusive Wynter the Bunny Pixling. On 4-6-24 I looked up the tracking because buyer said she did not receive it. The USPS said they sent it to a recovery center in WA. The buyer called and I also went to my local post office 3 times trying to get answers. They did not tell me anything except to file a missing package. Just curious do you have any idea's to what might of happened and why they wont send it back to me or forward it to the buyer.?
