What size is the not padded poly envelope ? I like that method, the bubble poly envelopes are expensive or hard to find.

thanks. do you do the same for high $ amount video games? lets say a $100 game. 6x9 bubble mailer and 2 cardboard pieces on both sides?

Yes, I had no issues with damaged items due to packing. If you are uncomfortable just put it in a box for extra protection. Dont forget to insure it too as First Class is not insured. Good Luck!

Great video. Simple and efficient. I love those small cardboard strips, where can I buy them?

Thanks! I just cut them from leftover boxes, you can order specifically cut cardboard but its not really worth it

Did you do a cost and time analysis on the dvd in bubble wrap vs. poly-bubble mailer? What were your findings?

Bubble mailer for sure, thats how I do it now. For expensive items I add extra protection.

So shipping a Blu-ray packed just like you did would run me how much for shipping on average?
@fliptyflip43204 жыл бұрын
Anything less than a 1lb will cost $2.80, 1lb to 2lb - $3.33 - on average those are the prices but you can always check USPS for reference: support.shippingeasy.com/hc/en-us/articles/203085769-Media-Mail-USPS-Retail-Rate-Table

@@fliptyflip4320 wait, so you use Media Mail? Have you ever had any trouble with the clerks at usps? I read that some give a hard time to people trying to ship blurays and games because for some reason they don’t always qualify as Media Mail. Some people said there stuff had to be searched to become eligible. Lol I don’t know man, I’m overwhelmed.

The USPS website says: Quote: Media Mail is a ground shipping solution for books, sound recordings, recorded video tapes, printed music, and recorded computer-readable media (such as CDs and DVDs). Video games on the other hand are NOT media and need to go First Class Mail
