I always use boots when I walk my dog, especially if we walk on hot concrete or if we go hiking or walking on grass. I always hear about dogs getting their paws cut, or getting splinters in them, so you might as well buy a good quality pair of shoes for them. We wear shoes to protect our feet from sharp rocks, so our doggos deserve protection too. I highly recommend ruffwear boots.

Yes! Boots work well for many dogs, and my dogs do wear boots in the winter months occasionally. When it is hot, I do worry about them overheating. Dogs lose heat from their paws, and the boots can trap in the heat. I can see them being helpful with rocks and such, but my dogs do quite well without them, even on rocky terrain. Just like people, dogs have different needs as well! 😄
