Maam how many months did u take to learn colour pencil portrait?

I just tried colored pencils directly on commissioned works, I didn't practice it before, I just draw realistic lips, realistic eyes before that. But as a portrait directly I tried on commissioned work, first 2 portraits tuned out to be okay, then I have watched several videos on colored pencils portraits, the 3 portrait I made after that was really best. 😀

I felt very new, I didn't know how to use colored pencils, they were not blending as graphite pencils dose, to find out how to blend them I had to watch several KZbin videos
