I am trying to swap my dishes and glassware and store them in container to store in garage. This is definitely a better solution. I have some used kitchen towels, will use them as cushion. Thank You!!

Can this packing be done with the help of newspaper as well?

Yes absolutely. It is free and it does the same thing. The only difference is, sometimes the ink from the newspaper will leave marks on the items being packed. If this happens, you just have to run the dishwasher on them.

Yes, but be prepared to wash your dishes after you unpack because some ink residue will ge on them.
