Last year, I painted my door with a paint that had primer in and for exterior. But the door and frames gather too much dust and so what finish or seal do you recommend for this issue?

Not related. I had solar put on my roof, just over my garage that is unfinished. I have a small leak where the lag bolts came into the rafters; how do i remedy this without pulling back the solar panel?

First mistake was drilling holes in your roof. Never drill holes in your roof as you now know. I would remove the fasteners to the panel and put silicon in the holes and some good roof sealant under the brackets and install fasteners and put the same roof sealant or silicon on the head of the sealant.

I wouldn't do anything, make the company that installed it fix the problem. It's not your fault they messed up, why should you have to fix it?

Many people live in areas where that isn't a concern. This may shock you, but there are small towns in America where it is normal to sell homes that don't even have locks on their doors. Did you not notice that this door is about 60 years old?

I know! I was thinking the same thing! Plus the paint will streak and not dry properly. Funny, in older episodes they always removed the door!

I’m not buyin’ this. The door is in a covered entryway and is completely protected from rain/snow. So how did it become weather damaged? Could it be that the producers transplanted the damaged door? Also, that door IN NO WAY matches (or compliments) the house design (which is mass produced style that is common in mass produced communities).

Lastly, can we talk about that ridiculous color combination? Rose/pink brick with a dingy-looking green door? They should have chosen white or possibly black. And… since that huge threshold is already black…it’s a no-brained.

Sorry, but this looks hideous to me. The original door could've just been cleaned up and would've looked better than the paint job given here. All those intricate curves looks now like it has globs of paint applied by a kindergarten child.
