TYSM to you and your team for putting in all those hours to not only teach, but also challenge artist content creation space in your entertaining videos. Ghibli is actually pronounced the way it’s spelled. Meaning that instead of it being pronounced as “jibli” it is actually pronounced as “gibli”. Some people might try to argue with this and say that Japanese people pronounce it as Jibli, but you see, the creator of Ghibli Studios borrowed the name of an Italian Airline, Ghibli, and used it for his Animation Studio. Making the accurate pronunciation “Gibli.

So, can you clarify something for me that no artist wants to reply to? To have that soft color effect that manga artist use ( you pretty much used here and showed examples of), do you basically have to play with the opacity or is it a specific brush? My colors always come out way too vibrant, making my art look mediocre. I'm using Photoshop if that changes anything.

i cant understand what your specific problem is without a visual example but i'll tr my best to answer! if you want more variety in brightness and softness of a colour maybe its the opacity you'd want to play around with, start using big strokes with a round brush on low opacity before deciding on the more vibrant colours. or you could always adjust it to your liking by using the adjustments and changing hues and brightness of a layer, hope this helps!
