How to Paint a Greater Possessed, Black Legion

In this video I'll be painting up one of the Greater Possessed miniatures from the Shadowspear boxed set. With these basic techniques you should be able to get your Greater Possessed painted up and looking great on your tabletop.

Cheers Boris, very much appreciated! :) I’d probably go with Cadian Flesh (I think it is, not at my desk to check! ☺️), but it depends on the skin tone, you can use the same technique with any skin tone. :)

Hey Rockkiller124, you should be able to get Vallejo Model Air Chrome from most hobby shops. The Model Air Silver is incredibly similar, so you can’t go wrong with either. Wonderful stuff! 😁😁

Great figures! I like that paint scheme. My 1st two obliterators are due this week & just received a Gabriel Seth miniature today- I was pleasantly surprised by the fine cast....some of them leave a lot to be desired. This one has no bubbles or voids- perfect. Thanks for the tutorial

Really appreciate that! :) I was going to do one painting up the different parts of the other miniature, so the claw, skull face, bones, etc rather than the full mini, wasn't sure how well the whole other mini would go down. Still... it is a great model... Will give it a think and decide which way to go! :)

This is awesome has helped me allot. Even though I messed up with my priming and put to.much of a heavy coat and lost a fair amount of detail but hey for my second ever miniature I think its come.out pretty good. I also went for green instead of purple and made his armour a purple as well thought it might be abit different. Though I should.of.waitinf for my metallic purple to.turn up but hey ho

Cheers MrBurningrubber, very much appreciated! :) It's all a learning curve and you'll learn something new with every miniature which is ace. Keep up the painting and never be disheartened by a think priming. I've done it myself (nearly did it last week on a LotR troll, a moments distraction and it's face was almost smooth! Managed to blow the worst of it away, but it's easily done!) :)

I'm not sure what Tabletop+ is! :) * - I say I paint them to game with, as Mike will attest, there isn't enough gaming happening at the mo! :)

Come to steal more advice, love the work on the claw. I'm a crimson slaughter man so might try and go for an off colour for the claw as opposed to too much red....maybe a yellow/brown.... Great vid as always though (I see a distinct move from chaos in your videos....too much heat from the Inquistion?)

Very nice tutorial and awesome finished product! I got the start collecting chaos space marines box that came with these guys about 3 months ago and I dunno what it was about that box man I havnt been able to bring myself to want to paint a single model in the box past primer lmao just started with this guy today

Venom crawler obliterators master of possession and the space marines im not sure but I think it’s the snap fit stuff they are very dynamic poses but I mostly paint in sub assembly and I like to do heads on toothpicks I’m still learning how to paint but maybe it’s the detail all in closed if that makes any sense when I sit there and look at it together it can be over whelming almost but this ones been coming along great and I have had this video almost on repeat painting it haha

I get that, especially on some of them, there's so much detail it can be overwhelming I think. Took me months to finish Mortarion, and Mephiston I started, left for about 4 months, and then finished him a month or so ago. The Blightlords are the same, I have 7 of them on my desk as a WIP :)
