Thank you Ed, I really appreciate you taking the time to make these video's.

Hey Ed, painting my first ever selfmade latexmask with your paintmix, I can not believe that it works! Since I'm living in Austria I don't have access to Monster Makers latex, so I made the mask (and 1/3 of the paint mix) out of a somewhat non-descript liquid latex, so I'm blown away that, at least right now, the base coat of skin color sticks to the mask perfectly. Even more incredible is that the mix actually feeds through my beginner's airbrush which usually clogs really easy. EDIT: So, the paintjob is completely done now, still amazed that it worked! Used a mix of brush painting with regular brushes and make up brushes and airbrushing. Ended up blending not only housepaint but also airbrush paint and regular acrylic with latex, all works fine, is flexible and doesn't rub off (unless you're trying real hard). Thanks to you and another youtuber I managed to finish this first ever paid commission for a co worker of mine for halloween! So thanks a ton!

It has been my dream since I was a kid stealing glances at Creepy mags at the grocery store to make my own latex mask. Not having the airbrush equipment was always an obstacle but seeing this I realize it isn't necessary. Bucket list updated, thank you so much!

I'm very surprised on how professional it looks for a basically diy at home tutorial, specially with that brown wash tecnique, looked amazing and is great to see this tecnique's also a lot faster than using airbrush and stuff ! thanks again, Ed ! you're the new Dick Smith for all of us who love the monster world :D

Hi Chazz! That is very nice of you, however, I am not even close to the amazing Dick Smith [Who used to help me by recommending his best students who had just graduated his course.] I'm closer to a Bob Ross kinda guy, showing you how to easily make "happy little monsters..." THANKS!!!

Great video, thank you. I'm about to paint my own latex mask, just one little tip, since I'm European I have some difficulties translating the rubbing alcohol technique to make shadows. 2 ounces of color in a quarter ( of gallon?) of 70% rubbing alcohol. Is that right?
