what kind of coat is the clear one at the end? Is it a sealant? I have a can of red acrylic that I am planning on using on my black mask (red dragon) for an Astartes design. Should I do this clear coat?

Heya, do you prime at all the inside before painting it black? (and do you clear coat it? I'm guessing it might be less necessary since it won't be exposed to the elements as much?)

I would guess that you should, since you will be sweating and breathing heavily into it and that condensation can cause weathering too

how hard would you consider your sparring sessions to be and if they are, how well has the mask been holding up? pls and ty

theyre reasonably intense. nothing too brutal. the paint is still holding up fine, just not as high-contrast as when i first painted it. sometimes ill touch up the black parts with a paint pen.

The last spray was a "clear coat" its a clear protective layer that helps prevent the paint from getting scratched or chipping off
