Andrew, after watching your video, Landscape Essentials, and you have to watch and observe to come to any conclusion, I have found that you are not only an excellent painter and professional; your are one of the most knowledgeable, observant concerning what people NEED... to realize when trying to paint, and understanding HOW TO CLARIFY WHAT ONE NEEDS TO KNOW to accomplish those particular skills!!! Some just want to boast and make money; I see that you wish to impart learning and that makes you the professional that you are! Thank you Kindly!

Andrew, this is a stunning work. I recently was visiting the national gallery in London, this painting is reminiscent of the height of the 19th century realist painting. The impasto of the sheep in the foreground reminds me of a nativity scene as would have been done by an old master. The mood of the composition is what sets this apart from your other works. Lord knows you can do details, and the exercises to loosen up have also been great. But this painting is transcendent. It’s simply moving. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Andrew. You do realise in centuaries to come, youll be revered in the company of the greatest artists in our history. You've inspired me to get back into oil painting. One day I hope to be able to produce such mastery and emotion as I see in your work. Many thanks sir.

there is something powerful and magical about "block in" mid-stage of the painting, as well as the sketch. it holds more mystery than the final stage i think. I do love the final painting, but your loose brush marks, lack of detail, and muted colors at the beginning are beautiful just as well.

All the hectic of life and no time for painting...I am always overjoyed when you uplode a new video! Your paintings give me the fuel to keep painting. When I can save up enough, I will buy the dvd for sure. Thank you for uploading such great videos.

Hi Andrew loves watching the initial monochrome painting, reminded me of a technique Cesar Santos uses for his portraits. You two are my favourite contemporary artists both for your realism abilities with oil paint and how you freely share your wealth of knowledge to help progress other artists. Keep being an inspiration!👍🏻

Andrew, your landscape paintings are stellar. As you zoom in to show the details, for example on those sheep, it is utterly jaw dropping to see how those light, seemingly random brushstrokes, create such engaging realism.
