Beyond the technics and you mastering them, what amazes me is your ability to split things to it's most basic. Here we've got three parts, each is deal with a 'simple' technic* and everything fits together. *Simple but hard to master 😭

Almost missed this video. I am glad I went through your video list and checked if I had missed any. The zoom level and lighting is perfect! And great work as always. Makes me wish (once again) I could fit an airbrush compressor into my workspace. I really appreciate the hybrid videos - it means there is something for those of use who don't have an airbrush in our toolkit.

Highlighting the red with white into the pink range was a bold choice! And the result is great, it really separates the cloth parts from the gold ones, very well done!

The red is really nice, and it's way more realistic than the usual vivid orange highlights people go for, IMO. Most paint jobs just use a neutral "midday on a clear sunny day" lighting scheme, so it looks a bit strange to me when the reds (and only the reds) look like they're lit by fire or sunset instead. I get the reason, it's harder to make it look over-highlighted with oranges, but you can get more realistic effects with pale skintones, like Angel did. And they're a bit easier to control than if you mixed in a pure offwhite or white.

@@nicholassinnett2958 I think most people just don't know color theory and don't' make their own mixes. Most prople simply follow recipes, because that's easier and have less room for errors.
