LMAO! My MIL has been painting on things like this for years... wooden hat boxes, purses, kitchen cabinets, even a bathroom floor! I love you guys so much and enjoy watching you. My Liquitex clear gesso is white in the bottle but has always dried clear. Hope you’re having fun on vacation. ❤️

well in all fairness that winsor newton stuff was probably 20 yrs old. I have a closet full of stuff like that I think i will use someday and never do. Art hoarders dilemma.

You will have the best dressed luggage around! I love the idea, and I adore the finished product. You are going to get so many compliments and questions on this fabulous luggage. You may have to start your own line of luggage! Then on to purses, wallets, shoes.... Ha ha. Have a great vacation.

That is the coolest! I have a suitcase my Mom got when she graduated in the 50's. It is a dark blue. I think I will put one of these paintings on it. I use it for storage. I love this! Ginger, I have a question. You have mentioned in past videos about how you print out the reference photo on a printer that you pay per number of photos. Can you tell me what the name of the service is? Or do you buy the printer outright? My printer is horrible right now and does not give good color prints, but I really need to work from reference photos as my eyes just can't focus on all the different distances. Thank you in advance!

Yes these are HP printers you can find on Amazon You pay under $5 every month and they send you ink before you run out and you can print your entire allotment in color they don't care. It was liquitex gloss medium and varnish 3 coats

My theory is the company that made the medium was expecting you to be painting it on a white canvas, in which case it would seem to have dried clear.

Please have your supplies out and ready for instant use. I don't like watching 4 minutes of you trying to find your supplies. Talk to us as you paint. Call out the colors you are choosing as you switch paints. You are speaking to beginners. Let them know why you are changing colors or changing the subject matter. An hour of silence is not teaching.
